Cris Rewrites is currently operated by me personally. If the activity is later transferred to a company, this page will be updated with the relevant legal entity information.
What I collect
Through the interest form for 1:1 Rewrites and the Cris Rewrites Community I may collect:
- your email address;
- minimal technical information normally generated when visiting a website, such as IP address, browser information, and data necessary for operating and securing the site.
Why I use your data
I use your email address to let you know when 1:1 Rewrites or the Cris Rewrites Community become available.
Signing up takes two steps (double opt-in): after you leave your address you receive a confirmation email, and you join the subscriber list only once you confirm.
By signing up and confirming your email address, you subscribe to Cris Rewrites emails. These may include updates about 1:1 Rewrites, the Community, events, new content, and other things I'm building. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Legal basis
For the waitlist, I process your data based on your consent.
You can withdraw that consent and ask me to delete your information at any time.
How long I keep it
I will keep the information for as long as reasonably necessary to manage the interest list and notify you about the launch of the service.
You can ask me to delete it sooner at any time.
After the service launches, information that no longer needs to remain on the interest list will be deleted within a reasonable period.
Who may process the data
I do not sell your personal data or share it with others for their own unrelated purposes.
To operate the site and the email list, I use specialist service providers:
- a website hosting provider;
- Brevo, the service I use to manage email subscribers and send emails, including the confirmation email.
Those providers may process the information only as needed to provide their services.
Your rights
Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have the right to request:
- access to your personal data;
- correction of inaccurate data;
- deletion;
- restriction of certain processing;
- withdrawal of your consent;
- data portability where applicable.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
The site should not currently use non-essential marketing or tracking cookies.
If analytics, advertising, marketing, or other technologies requiring consent are introduced later, this policy and the site's consent mechanism will be updated before they are enabled.
